“Soaring”

This is the second poem in my life that I’ve written for someone else; usually my poems are about personal experience and feelings. But this human being has been extremely kind to me since the day he discovered my writing and I have learnt so much from him as a person and as a writer. To you, I know it feels impossible right now, but just you wait. Wait till I see you,

“SOARING”:

Take all the time in the world
We ain’t goin’ anywhere
I’ve seen you fall enough times before
To know in my very core
That you can learn to get up again
And soar
Through the sky
With all that you got, fly
And show us all how it’s done.
Oh you will be the one
They’ll tell their kids of.

And I will smile when they ask who this poem is for
I don’t know how tall you are
Or what you sound like when you laugh
But I know your soul
Believe it or not
Cause you won’t believe it, but I know
Your soul
I have seen it with all the darkness
Trust me we have all been there before

I wish I knew how to see you, and be you
When you told me I pulled you to light
Cause you light up my life
Even when yours is dark enough to drag you
down to, the ground
And it shakes beneath you
But don’t fall
For I am right here to give you
a hand and a prayer
I’ll be standing there
When you come back home.

“!جان” (Know!)

تو اگر جان لیتا کہ خدا تیرے لئے کیا کچھ کرتا ہے
!تو سجدے میں ایسا گرتا کے مرنے کے بعد ہی اٹھایا جاتا

Kafan mai lipta hua tera chehra muskuraata; ke “Dekh! Dekh aye khuda! Mai Tere ehsaano ka kuch haq ada tou na karsaka lekin koshish mai saari zindagi bita di.”

Magar tu tou ghafil raha hai.

Magar wo ye sab nahi karta… Kabhi tu ne iski waja jaani?

Aisa nahi ke tu Uske azaab ke qaabil nahi. Aisa nahi ke tu ne gunaah se khud ko paak rakha hai.

Aisa hargiz nahi ke tu Uski zaroorat hai. Uski tou koi zaroorat nahi, teri kia auqaat?

Tere ashraf-ul-makhlooqat hone ne tujhe intekhaab tou diya par shayad ab tera zameer bhi rota ho ke is intekhaab se acha tou bay-zubaan, bay-aqal hona tha- jis naymat ne tujh ko Allah se dour kiya tou us naymat ka wujood hi kyun kar hua?

Tou ab jaan le.

Jaan ke teri zaat ab tak kyun qayim hai. Jaan! Jaan ke tere hone ki waahid waja,
ALLAH ki mohabbat hai.

Jaan le, ke Wo tujhse pyaar na karta, tou teri auqaat bhi rait ke aik zarre se barh ke nahi.

Par Wo tujhse pyaar kyun karta hai?

Jab tere saare ganday khayalat o harkaat se waqif hai tou kese tujhe teri maa se bhi kayi gunah ziada chahta hai?

Kyun ke tere paas tauba hai.

Ab di tou ye bhi Us hi zaat ne. Par saath mai is ko apnaane ka intekhaab bhi diya hai. Jo tu ne khud karna hai.

Aur is intekhaab ko karne ki hidayat bhi Wohi de ga, bas tu ne uski chah ko sambhaal kar rakhna hai.

Us chah ko sambhalnay ka khayal bhi Wohi dega. Phir akhir kia bach gaya tujh mai?

Tu maang.

Tere pas dua hai. Aur dua se tou Qadr badli jaati hai. Tou maang; ke Us ka khazaana kabhi kam nahi hota.

Par dua bhi akhir Wo hi sunay ga…

“Tou tum apne parwardigaar ki kon kon si naymat ko jhutlao ge?” – Surah Al-Rahmaan

Dil sajde mai mar jaane ko na chaahe, tou aur kia chaahe?
